Tweak Me Now Comes With Windows 8 Tweaks

Over the last couple of months, a number of software have been released to tweak and alter the default settings in Windows 8 operating system. While most of the popular Windows 7 tweaking tools support Windows 8, very few tools have been updated to add new Windows 8 specific tweak. The developer of Tweak Me! has updated the tool to version 1.3 and it now includes full support for Windows 8. In addition to the tweaks available in the previous version, this version of the tool also includes some Windows 8 specific tweaks. The current version of Tweak Me comes with options to disable the Charms bar, disable app switcher, disable lock screen, disable app store, enable and use legacy boot loader, and hybrid boot (fast boot) options. Options are also included to disable Windows Explorer Library, Computer, Homegroup, Favorites, and Network. Just like the previous version, the newest version also lets you create a system restore while launching it. Users who have used the previous version of Tweak Me probably know that this simple tweaking tool includes over hundred tweaks and also includes a system cleanup tool, startup manager, and context menu cleaner. The only downside is that Tweak Me isn’t a standalone tool. That is, you need to download the setup file, install it and run the same. Windows 8 SmartScreen might display “Windows SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from Starting. Running this app might put your PC at risk” message when you run the setup file. Simply click More info and then click Run anyway button to install the program. Also note that the setup offers you install Pokki Start menu. If you really need a free Start menu for your Windows 8, you can click “I accept” box to install Pokki along with Tweak Me. Download Tweak Me
