Microsoft’s decision to drop Aero glass from Windows 8 was one of the reasons why many Windows 7 users chose not to upgrade to Windows 8. Over the last two years a number of themes and transformations have been released to make Windows 8/8.1 look like Windows 7 but most of them have failed to do so. And in order to get the Start menu, you need to download and install Classic Shell or one of the many free Start menu designed for Windows 8/8.1. Installing this visual style is very easy if you know how to install a third-party theme in Windows 8/8.1. You first need to add support for third-party themes in Windows with the help of a tool called UXStyle. Then need to copy all the files included in the downloaded zip to the Themes folder.
